Training for Volunteer Involving Organisations
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
We would like to invite you to attend this training session which will cover the following topics:
• Mental Health awareness
• Providing supervision
• Induction
• Effective Communication
• Interviewing process
• Disclosure and confidentiality according to legislation
• Providing support, catering for individual needs
• Handling mental health issues
• Working with vulnerable people
• Maintaining a appropriate physical environment
You will have the opportunity to hear from and talk to people who have themselves experienced mental health distress.
If you are interested in attending please complete the enclosed booking form with a cheque for:
£30 per participant - member organisation
£55 per participant – non member organisation
Closing date for replies is Friday 23rd June. Places are limited and will be dealt with on a first come first served basis. We will contact you to confirm your place on receipt.
